Practical Action is a charity merchant which has launched a new affiliate programme. Practical Action is a charity that aims to use simple technology to challenge poverty and transform lives in developing countries like Zimbabwe, Sudan, Balgladesh, Kenya, Peru, Sri Lanka and Nepal.

Practical Action aim to bring improvements to the lives of the poorest people in the world using appropriate technology using sustainable local materials. For example, food can be grown on a raft built of water hyacinth, a local weed, so the crop floats on top of water instead of being devastated by the flood. Just £6 helps a family build their first floating garden.

Practical Action have launched their new affiliate programme on the DGM network. Affiliates are paid 15% commission of the donation value for a one off donation and £20 commission for 1-5 direct debit donations per month, £25 commission for 6-10 direct debit donations per month, £30 commission for 11-19 direct debit donations per month and £35 commission for 20+ direct debit donations per month, all with a 30 day cookie.
